Sabu Dana Vada

Sabudana vadas are very crunchy and simply melts in the mouth. This is again a fasting item, but you can make it in regulat days also when some of your guest are coming. Serve these sabudana vadas with green chutney.

Ingredient
  • 1/2 cup Sabudana
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potato
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Corriander leaves
  • Salt ot taste
  • Oil or ghee to fry

Method
  1. Wash sabudana and soak it in little water for at least 2-3 hours. 
  2. Mix sabudana with all other ingredients and knead properly to prepare a soft dough.
  3. Now divide the mixture into equal parts and roll them. You can give any shape as you desire. Take some oil in hand to roll the vadas and to give shape.
  4. Now heat up the oil properly till it smokes and then deep fry the vadas till golden brown. Soak vadas on an absorbent paper to absorb extra oil from it.
  5. Serve hot vadas with green chutney and tomato sauce.
